- Haptic accelerator pedal
This innovative system helps you save energy thanks to the haptic accelerator pedal communicating with you. The pressure point has two important tasks. The system limits the drive torque at the pressure point. In addition, it can show the maximum speed you should drive at to reach your destination.

With the 22kW On-board Charger, get your EQS charged faster at suitable public charging stations or home wall boxes. This reduces your charging times considerably if there are no DC fast chargers around AC charging time 0%-100% SOC: 5.5 Hours
- Intelligent thermal management
Intelligent thermal management is integrated in the battery of the EQS – if the intelligent navigation with Electric Intelligence is activated, the battery is preheated or cooled as needed while driving to reach the optimal temperature for efficient charging at the charging point.
- Platform structure EVA2
The EQS is the first model to be based on the newly developed EVA2 platform structure. With different battery sizes and drive variants, the Limousine offers electric driving made to measure.

- Intelligent recuperation
The EQS offers several variants of energy recovery by means of recuperation. In this process, the high-voltage battery is charged by converting the mechanical rotary motion into electrical energy on the overrun or when braking. DAuto facilitates intelligent recuperation with the help of navigation and camera data.
