FAME India, or Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric automobiles in India, is a project sponsored by the Indian government to encourage electric and hybrid automobiles.

1. Phases: The system was implemented in stages, with FAME I launching in 2015 and FAME II in 2019. Each phase has distinct objectives and funding allocations.

6. Budget: FAME II has a budget of ₹10,000 crore (roughly $1.4 billion) for three years to achieve its objectives.
