Revolt Motors has launched its third electric motorcycle, the RV1, in the Indian market. The e-bike is available in two variants – RV1 and RV1+, priced at Rs 84,990 and Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom), respectively.
The Revolt RV1 is powered by a 2.8 kW electric motor that drives the rear wheel via a chain drive. The base variant comes with a 2.2 kWh battery offering a range of up to 100 km on a single charge, and the RV1+ variant comes with a larger 3.24 kWh battery pack that can cover 160 km on a single charge. The smaller battery can be charged from 0-80% in 2 hrs 15 min, while the 3.24 kWh version takes 3 hrs 30 mins. Both variants have a top speed of 70 km/h.
In terms of design, the Revolt RV1 looks like a typical commuter bike. It has a circular LED headlamp up front, plastic fairing on the sides and a single-piece seat with V-shaped taillights at the back. The RV1 is offered with a 6-inch digital instrument console, a reverse mode, and built-in charger storage.
The bike rides on black alloy wheels, with a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by disc brakes.
